2018 Highlights

As part of our mission to advance knowledge in real estate, public policy, and urban economics through industry and community collaboration, the 2018 Real Estate Capital Markets Symposium was presented by Barings and the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate.

This free event brought together industry experts and small developers, transitioning to institutional capital, to gain practical and timely information on the process of raising debt and private equity in today’s market. The event featured two panel interviews discussing access to the private equity market and the debt funding environment followed by a presentation given by Greg MacKinnon, Director of Research at Pension Real Estate Association.
