Meet the Speaker
Matt Browder is the founder and owner of Browder Group Real Estate, LLC, a real estate investment and development company focused on adaptive reuse and urban development in the Charlotte market. Recent projects include the redevelopment of the former Goodwill headquarters on Freedom Drive into retail, restaurant, and showroom space, attracting tenants including Noble Smoke, A. Hoke Limited, Walker Zanger, and Suffolk Punch. He is in the process of redeveloping 8 buildings along Thrift Road for tenants including Stratifyd, Summit Seltzer, The City Kitch, Laurel Street Residential, and Hygge Coworking.
Matt returned to Charlotte after receiving degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. Matt is a member of the Urban Land Institute and a former board member of University City Partners.
