What is your professional background?

After graduating U of R, I was a CPA & audit associate at Johnson Lambert in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Auditing enabled me to understand the financial intricacies and operational aspects of a company.

What motivated you to pursue this program?

Witnessing the continued development and growth of the Raleigh market fueled my interest in commercial real estate and UNC Charlotte’s program coincides perfectly with my profile as a young and hungry professional.  A MSRE is essential to develop my knowledge in real estate and transition my career into the industry.

How would you describe the M.S. in Real Estate to someone who is considering pursuing this master’s degree?

It is a well-thought-out curriculum that teaches the technical skills necessary to succeed in the real estate industry. The opportunities that UNC Charlotte offers through its diverse course selection, real world exposure through its student managed real estate investment fund, seminar series, and interactions with industry professionals provide an engaging learning experience.
