Real Estate Private Equity Workshop

Tuesday, March 28, 2017

at UNC Charlotte's Center City Campus

The Childress Klein Center for Real Estate is proud to offer a full day of timely commercial real estate content beginning with an invitation-only Real Estate Private Equity Workshop. Participants will also attend the Real Estate Capital Markets Symposium, which is open to the public.

The Real Estate Private Equity Workshop will provide practical information on the process of raising private equity capital in today’s market through presentations, expert panel discussions, instructive and personal dialogues with experts, and real-world illustrations. Course instructors will walk attendees through the step-by-step process of: identifying assets for capital raising opportunities, effectively positioning these assets, developing an effective story, and preparing an equity raise proposal for presentation to varying types of capital sources.

Attendees will hear from real estate professors, investment bankers, capital providers and other experts about current financial terms, investment criteria and other imperatives that are part of successful capital raises in the current economic environment.

Following the conclusion of the Real Estate Private Equity Workshop, participants will attend our Real Estate Capital Markets Symposium featuring guest speaker Jim Clayton and a "Private Equity Perspectives" panel discussion. Enjoy enhanced networking opportunities with presenters and your peers at a cocktail reception to end the day.
