The International Real Estate Study Tour allows students to gain a global perspective on topics such as investment, real estate development and urban planning.
The course is delivered over spring break each year and is required for MSRE students. It is an optional course for students in the Graduate Certificate in Real Estate & Development and the MBA’s Real Estate Finance & Development concentration. Students from other MBA concentrations, or other graduate programs in the Belk College of Business, may also have access to this study abroad opportunity, if space permits.
Locations visited in the past include Bangkok, Barcelona, Berlin, Cape Town, Dubai, Dublin, Ho Chi Mihn, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, Milan, Moscow, Rio de Janeiro and Shanghai. Future trips will focus on Dublin, Ireland and Milan, Italy.
